For the Lord will have mercy on Jacob,
_ and will yet choose Israel,
_ and set them in their own land;
_ and the strangers shall be joined with them,
_ and they shall cleave to the house of Jacob.
And the people shall take them
_ and bring them to their place;
_ yea, from far unto the ends of the earth;
_ and they shall return to their lands of promise.
And the house of Israel shall possess them,
_ and the land of the Lord
_ shall be for servants and handmaids;
_ and they shall take them captives
_ unto whom they were captives;
_ and they shall rule over their oppressors.
and it shall come to pass in that day
_ that the Lord shall give thee rest,
_ from thy sorrow, and from thy fear,
_ and from the hard bondage
_ wherein thou wast made to serve.
