And now these are the words: Thus saith the Lord God:
“Behold, I will lift up mine hand to the Gentiles,
_and set up my standard to the people;
_and they shall bring thy sons in their arms,
_and thy daughters shall be carried
_upon their shoulders.“And kings shall be thy nursing fathers,
_and their queens thy nursing mothers;
_they shall bow down to thee
_ with their faces towards the earth,
_and lick up the dust of thy feet;
_and thou shalt know that I am the Lord;
_for they shall not be ashamed that wait for me.”
