Redaction: Moroni continued to record the Jaredite story as a parallel with the Nephite tale of destruction. The Jaredites have now reached the location of the final battleground, which will also be the last stand of the Nephites. In each case, there is a lone witness: Ether and Moroni. Moroni was a combatant, while Ether was not; however, Moroni would have seen the resemblances as stronger than this difference.
