“Alma Did Walk in the Ways of the Lord”

The next major book in the Book of Mormon is the book of Alma. Mormon is preparing us for that development by using Alma₂ as one of the terminal points of the Mosiah₁ dynasty. Mormon therefore expresses his approval of Alma₂—a good man (“walk[s] in the ways of the Lord”) who made righteous judgments.
